When looking back on National Apprenticeship Week 2020, it’s important to shine a light on the impressive buzz we created around Apprenticeships and positive impact we made on our potential leaders of the future.
It's fair to say that the week was jam packed full of events with over 900 gatherings nation wide!
#NAW2020 was also the number one trending hashtag on UK Twitter and generated over 61 million impressions combined with the hashtag and theme for the week, #LookBeyond.
Over 1750 articles, case studies and interviews were published about apprenticeships with support from ITV, BBC, The Daily Mail and many more household names in the media industry.
Apprenticeships.gov.uk also saw a 15% increase in referrals from social media and 83% increase in traffic compared to National Apprenticeship Week 2019.
Finally, the Stakeholder toolkits and assets were downloaded over 11,700 times; which was up from 6,500 in 2019.
Thank you to everyone who took part in raising the profile of Apprenticeships and celebrated the powerful stories of some of our exemplary apprentices across the country, it truly was a week to remember!
